Zoë Tapper
Zoë Tapper was born on 26th October 1980 and is from Bromley, Kent.
She is a product of both the Academy Drama School and the Central School of Speech and Drama. She graduated from the latter in the spring of 2003, just three days before appearing in her first movie.
She made her feature film debut in the award-winning period film Stage Beauty, alongside Claire Danes, Billy Crudup and Rupert Everett. Onstage, Tapper has been in several productions including Shakespearean classics like Richard II, As You Like It and Othello as well as the television adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
On television, Zoë has been seen on several shows. In 2003, she played Jane on the telefilm The Private Life of Samuel Pepys and was later seen on an episode of Cutting It.
In 2004, she was seen portraying the character Gemma on the BBC cult show Hex. Her character is that of a clueless beauty, who is easy-going and the apple of her father’s eye.
Tapper was later seen on Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky, before getting a role in the Jericho episode “The Hollow Men.”
She also worked on the award-winning feature film Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont, a dramatic comedy directed by Dan Ireland.
In 2006, she got cast in another film titled "These Foolish Things". This enabled her to work with Angelica Huston, Andrew Lincoln, David Leon and Terence Stamp.
Her other appearances were on episodes of Foyle’s War and Hotel Babylon. She also had a starring role as Mary Collins in Channel 4’s A Harlot’s Progress. Tapper was later given the role of Kay Strange in Marple: Towards Zero.
In 2008, Zoë appeared as Sheila Steafel in the 2008 BBC television play, The Curse of Steptoe. She later appeared in the BBC remake of the 1970's series Survivors, where she played the character of Dr Anya Raczynski alongside Max Beesley, Paterson Joseph and Julie Graham. Survivors returns for a second series in January 2010.
She later signed on for parts in Affinity (a novel written by Sarah Waters set in the 1870s), Small Dark Places, and The Grind.

In 2009 she appeared in the six-part ITV fantasy drama series Demons, as monster hunter Mina Harker.
Also in 2009, she appeared as Effie Ruskin, in the BBC Costume Drama Desperate Romantics, a story that followed the life and love affairs of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. She co-starred alongside Rafe Spall, Tom Hollander, Aidan Turner and Samuel Barnett.
Baseline - a film released on 2nd July 2010 - costars Zoë as Jessica, girlfriend of a nightclub bouncer.
In 2010, Zoë appeared in a 30 minute film for Channel Four's 'Coming Up' series, starring alongside Andrew Buchan in author Richard T Kelly's drama "Eclipse" and voiced the character of Roxanna Galpin in Stephen Poliakoff's radio play Playing With Trains.
Zoë had a starring role as Hannah in the one-off pilot comedy drama Reunited, which aired on BBC1, Wednesday 30th June 2010.
At the start of 2011, Zoë was performing on both TV and Radio. In January 2011, she played the character of Donatella Pirotta, in the third episode of the BBC's Italian Detective Series Zen. Continuing her audio career, Zoë then voiced the character of Hayley Taylor, a spirtualist medium, for the Radio 4 Afternoon play Haunted, written by Sally Griffiths, playing alongside Steffan Rhodri and Vineeta Rishi. Later on in 2011, Zoë appeared in two independant films (both currently in post-production, with a slated release during 2011).
What You Will - an independant film starring Zoë as Katie Reed (acting opposite her real-life husband Oliver Dimsdale) and Cheerful Weather for the Wedding, playing the part of Evelyn Graham, acting alongside Mackenzie Crook (with whom she appeared in ITV's Demons) and Fenella Woolgar.
